Hey there, I’m Laura, an elder Millennial living who loves gardening, food, and musing about the world around me from my perspective as a member of Gen Y. I live in the American Midwest – more specifically, one of the many suburbs surrounding Chicago – with my kid, husband, two cats, and however many fish are currently still swimming around in the fish tank.

I write about topics that matter to fellow Millennials, including food, gardening, finance, health, current events, and more. As an elder Millennial who has lived through approximately 1.3 million “Once in a Lifetime®” events, I also write about my perspective as someone of my generation living in today’s crazy and unpredictable world.

Outside of the World Wide Web, I’m an actor and singer, and sometimes my performing arts experiences may occasionally spill over into this space. They’re mostly fun and amusing anecdotes, I promise. I also write and strategize for clients as an independent communications consultant, because my life isn’t exciting enough already.
